The Africa map is a big place where you can scan for great destinations if you are backpacker.  If you love the sun, the sand, and the beach here are some of the greatest you can see in between the gridlines.

Famous but Affordable Backpacking Spots

•    Lake Malawi – This great lake takes up around 30% of the country of Malawi’s area.  This is also a haven for divers who are seeking to get their certification since the prices are the cheapest in the world.  Enjoy your stay in the comforts of Mango Drift Lodge, Kande Beach, and Gecko Lounge.

•    Chefchaouen – The Africa map grid can also point you this town in the Rif Mountains in Morocco. Aside from affordability, the picture perfect beauty of the landscape is priceless.  The main square of the town proper is lined by cafes where you can mingle with other tourists or immerse yourself in the local culture. You can stay in some of the blue sky painted lodges that line the cobbled street of this rustic town.

•    Korhobite- This is one of the loveliest beaches in Ghana.  People from all over the world flock to this spot to hear the mix of the Academy of African Music and Art and enjoy great dancing to the local beats. Lodging is available at the academy or you can stay at Big Milly’s where most backpackers tribe when in town.

•    Zanzibar- Backpackers can find this beach in Tanzania. It is famous for the mesmerizing Stone Town in the main island. Holiday in this spot may hurt the pocket since most of the place is considered upscale. A little patience though, can take you to Paje, Nungwi, or Jamiani where most backpackers on a budget enjoy.

•    Wild Coast- This one is in Easter Cape, South Africa. There are a lot of things you can do there like fishing, diving, hiking, and surfing. The Africa map may guide you to Coffee Bay, Port St. John’s, and the Cintsa which are the favorite spots of backpackers from all over the globe.

•    Dahab- This is along Egypt’s coastline fronting the Red Sea.  Backpackers can enjoy low budget accommodations, shops, and other activities. The best places to stay in are at the Bishibishi Garden, Sphinx Dahab, Penguin village, and the Jasmine Hotel.

•    Kribi- This is the jewel of Cameroon. It may be easy to spot in the Africa map but going to Kribi may be very hard for backpackers. The area is isolated but finding it is all worth it when you see the Lobe Waterfalls meeting the Ocean. You can stay in hotel Ilomba, Palm Beach, or Auberge Tara Plage.
